KIKI London at Lesnes Abbey Woods

A little while back I was introduced to the KIKI Group in London, lead by Tanya Duranti-Du Plessis, and was invited to their photoshoot in Lesnes Abbey Woods (click here to see it on Google Maps).

It was the first time (EVER) that I ventured that far east… and I am so glad I did as the location is absolute stunning and has endless possibilities! But I am not sure the peaceful forest was ready for what came its way on Saturday…

As early as 8am (points for enthusiasm!) the models and Tanya arrived at the location and little by little more people joined until we set out to “base camp” somewhere in the forest.

“Base Camp” sprang to life very quickly after Heline Bekker brought us to a location she scouted out the weekend before. While the Boudoir (in the shape of a tent) was sent up the make-up artists went about preparing the models for the various themes.

Make-up artists:
Aline Borduqui
Elana Bouwer

Themes / Models:
Vintage Couple: Lenise & Lourens de Jager
Modern Couple: Suzi Brown & Stephan van der Merwe
Fairy with eyelashes: Henriette Fourie
Fairy with purple veil: Chris-Mari Nortier

Vendors:
Cupcakes: Karen Paine
Wardrobe supplier for Fairies: Miss Libby Rose (website here)
Event styling done by : Karin Duranti & Tanya Duranti-du Plessis of Red Loves Pink Event styling (website here)
Accessories by: Karin Duranti

There was near 30 photographers during the day and we had such a great time getting to know each other, learning, watching and experimenting together. It was a great pleasure to have met some many talented individuals and I look forward to the next event!

Below are some of my photos from the day:
